ROBERT PLANT: AOL SESSIONS Performance Posted Online
June 14, 2005As legendary LED ZEPPELIN singer Robert Plant gears up for his summer tour of the United States beginning June 15 in Providence, Rhode Island, fans can get a sneak peak by viewing his AOL Music Sessions performance, online now. Recorded last month in New York City, this mini concert — which showcases classic both LED ZEPPELIN and new Plant tunes (including "Black Dog", "Gallows Pole", "Mighty Rearranger" and "Shine It All Around") — is available to anyone with a computer as America Online no longer makes their music content a subscriber-only exclusive.
Robert Plant's AOL Sessions comes on the heels of the release of his latest album, "Mighty Rearranger", which is his first collection of primarily original music in 12 years, and was written and recorded with his band THE STRANGE SENSATION. The album's first single, "Shine It All Around", is a hit at rock radio, with both fans and critics acknowledging Plant's return to form.
